The Sydney Tower was first opened to the public in 1981. The turret has a capacity of 960 persons and at 1014ft, it only takes 40 seconds in one of the 3 elevators to get there. Once at the top, you can visit two levels of restaurants, the coffee lounge and the observation deck. In addition to the spectacular 360 degree views, you can take the family on a virtual reality ride across Australia on the OzTrek, or try the Skywalk – a safety-harnessed walk across the glass-covered floor of the walkway.

The Sydney Aquarium is another excellent choice for families to visit. Any trip to the Sydney harbour should include a visit to the Sydney Aquarium. With over 12,000 animals, there’s sure to be a favorite for each member of your family. The Aquarium has a main exhibit hall, two interactive touch pools, two floating oceanariums and one fixed oceanarium. The fixed one is dedicated the Great Barrier Reef.
